Clinton: FBI Should Release All the Information It Has

Hillary Clinton has said the FBI should release 'whatever facts they claim to have', after the organisation's director announced it would be investigating more of her emails.

The latest correspondence came to light during a separate inquiry into Anthony Weiner, who was caught texting a 15 year old girl and is the estranged husband of one of her top aides.

The Democratic nominee said she's confident the new emails won't change the FBI's conclusion back in July that she should not face prosecution - but they should still release more information:

Clinton demands more information about new documents under FBI investigation

Hillary Clinton is demanding that the FBI release more details about a new batch of e-mails they're reviewing with regard to Mrs. Clinton's handling of classified information while she was Secretary of State.

In her first public comments on the bombshell announcement made in Washington, Mrs. Clinton said it is "incumbent"  on the FBI to provide her campaign with more information.

UN General Assembly votes Russia off of Human Rights Council

FBI Re-examine Clinton Email Scandal

With less than two weeks before the presidential elections, the FBI has reopened its investigation into Hillary Clinton after saying it had uncovered new emails.

The agency has been examining the use of her private server to handle work emails while she was US Secretary of State.

In a letter to Congress, FBI Director James Comey says the new emails "appear to be pertinent to the investigation."

US State Department Spokesman Mark Toner says he doesn't know anything about these new emails.

US says China willing to discuss ending coal exports to North Korea

The US and China are mulling stronger United Nations sanctions against North Korea, to more effectively squeeze Pyongyang's access to foreign funds.


The US on Friday said that Beijing has been willing to discuss closing a sanctions loophole that allows Pyongyang to earn revenue from coal exports to China.

Russia extends halt of airstrikes in Aleppo

The Kremlin rejected a request from the Russian military to resume airstrikes against terrorists in the Syrian city of Aleppo. Moscow extended the halt of bombardments but said it retains the right to resume them if necessary in order to protect the Syrian army. Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.

Russian Jet Flies Too Close to US Plane Over Syria

WADA report in Rio's 2016 Olympic Games finds serious failings

A report by the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) has criticized Rio's 2016 Olympic Games, saying that up to half the planed drug tests were aborted because athletes "could not be found." 

This report also stated that there was "little or no in-competition blood testing in many high-risk sports" during the games in Brazil.

UN Chief Demands Investigation Into Syria School Airstrike

UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has called for an investigation into a bomb attack on a school in Syria on Wednesday, which killed over 20 children.
