US says China willing to discuss ending coal exports to North Korea

The US and China are mulling stronger United Nations sanctions against North Korea, to more effectively squeeze Pyongyang's access to foreign funds.


The US on Friday said that Beijing has been willing to discuss closing a sanctions loophole that allows Pyongyang to earn revenue from coal exports to China.
