US First Lady Michelle Obama campaigns for Hillary Clinton in joint rally

20 arrested in massive fraud scheme - US Justice Dept.

20 have been arrested in dozens more charged in a massive scheme to defraud Americans, by convincing them they owed tax payments when they did not.

The operation was based at call centers in Ahmedabad, India.

UN trying again to evacuate sick and wounded Syrians from East Aleppo


The United Nations is resuming its attempt to evacuate hundreds of sick and wounded Syrians trapped in Aleppo.


The renewed vow comes after the world body abandoned evacuations plans last weekend over a lack of cooperation from warring parties.

Duterte says US treats Philippines like "dogs on a leash"

Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte said on Thursday his country could join naval exercises with Japan, and repeated that he wanted to end military excercises with the United States.

A British private security expert believes entertainment venues around the country should carry out counter-terror training.

Aleppo: UN Security Council Told 'You Have To Choose To Make It Stop'

The UN Humanitarian Affairs chief has called on members of the UN Security Council who have military assets in Syria to stop the bombing of civilian areas.

It came during his regular briefing to the council on the humanitarian situation in the war torn country, which saw angry reactions and strong language from Russia and the US.
