NISSAN TO INVEST IN UK DESPITE BREXIT

Nissan says it will build two new cars in the UK, despite the country's decision to leave the European Union.

The British government is presenting it as a sign major companies are prepared to invest in the UK as Brexit approaches.

The carmaker says it's been able to invest in Britain because of guarantees extended to it to ease concerns over Brexit.

UK Correspondent Olly Barratt says it's a major coup for Britain.
