Pres. Obama to host Italian PM

U.S. President Barack Obama is set to hold what is expected to be his last big official visit, hosting Italy's Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.

In addition to the usual round of speeches, lunches and meetings, the visit is expected to be a celebration of Italian culture in America.

Trump Doubles Down on Voter Fraud Claims

Donald Trump has doubled down on his allegations that the forthcoming US election on 8th November will be rigged.

The Republican presidential nominee told an audience in Green Bay, Wisconsin that studies show rampant voter fraud, even as Republican lawyers have called his claims unfounded.

USA Today Reports Connections between Lobbyists and Clinton Family Foundation

The publication USA today is reporting a close connection between private companies, Hillary Clinton’s State Department, and the Clinton family foundations.

UN Security Council Holds Consultations on Syria

Mosul operations expected to take 'some time' - US

The U.S. is downplaying ideas that the Iraqi and Kurdish forces will quickly retake Mosul, Iraq's second largest city.

US denies involvement in Julian Assange losing internet

The Obama administration is denying involvement in Julian Assange's claim that his internet connectivity was deliberately cut by a state party.

The founder of Wikileaks has sought sanctuary at the Ecuadorean embassy in London, as the Swedes call for his extradition to face charges of sexual assault.

Julian Assange insists, if he leaves the embassy, he will be deported to the United States.

Obama admin denies quid pro quo on Clinton emails

The White House and the U.S. State Department are denying there was any sort of a deal or quid pro quo arranged to address the classification of some of Hillary Clinton's emails.

A top U.S. State Department official had an exchange with his FBI counterpart about changing the classification of a few of Hillary Clinton's emails while in the same email exchange, spoke about slots for FBI agents at American agencies.

The classification change request was denied by the FBI

US Defense Department transfers Guantanamo Bay detainee

The US Defense Department has announced the transfer of a detainee at
Guantanamo Bay back to his home country of Mauritania.

U.S: Journalist Amy Goodman faces riot charge

U.S. journalist, Amy Goodman, host and executive producer of Democracy Now! Has been charged of  participating in a "riot".
