Abbas describes Israeli Gaza war as "genocide"
In a speech to the UN General Assembly in New York, Mr Abbas called for a UN-backed timetable for Israel to withdraw from Palestinian land captured in the 1967 war.

Work started on eastern Ukrainian ceasefire buffer zone
