RECORD SIX MAINBOARD IPOS OPEN ON SINGLE DAY IN INDIA'S BUSIEST LISTING RUSH IN THREE DECADES

A record six companies have opened share sales on a single day in India — the most in three decades — as firms rush to list before a regulatory deadline at the end of September.

India is the world's busiest market for initial public offerings in 2026, with more than 160 companies raising over eight billion dollars so far, according to data from the London Stock Exchange Group.

The surge comes despite market volatility linked to the war between the United States and Iran, which had prompted many firms to delay their plans earlier in the year.
