Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to collude with foreign forces — his second conviction under the territory's national security law.
The twenty-nine-year-old is already serving a prison sentence of more than four years for subversion and had been due for release early next year, but the fresh conviction could add years behind bars.
The charge relates to alleged efforts in 2020 to persuade foreign governments and organisations to impose sanctions on Hong Kong and China.
