The United States Central Command has announced that all sea mines have been cleared from the Strait of Hormuz, warning it will attack any Iranian vessels that attempt to lay new ones, as the US-Iran war reaches its six-month mark on Friday with no negotiations under way.
Outgoing White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed on Thursday that there are no talks with Tehran, while President Trump has said he is in no hurry to resume diplomacy.
The president has continued to taunt Iran on social media, posting the Strait of Hormuz among a list of US territories and sharing an AI-generated image of himself holding a machine gun.
