More than 630 people are confirmed dead and nearly three thousand remain unaccounted for after a glacier collapse sent a devastating flood through communities along the Nepal-China border on Wednesday.
Among the missing are nationals from more than 30 countries, including around 90 Americans and dozens of Australians and Canadians, many of whom were visiting the popular trekking and pilgrimage region.
Rescue operations resumed on Saturday after a brief halt caused by fears that a newly formed lake at the collapse site could trigger a second flood.
From New Delhi, Neha Poonia reports.
