Iran has fired missiles at American military bases in Jordan, with Jordanian air defences intercepting eight missiles early on Monday, as US President Donald Trump teases possible strikes on Iran's Kharg Island oil export terminal.
The exchange began on Sunday when US forces struck two Iranian rocket launchers on Larak Island — the first American military action against Iran in more than a month — after Iran's Revolutionary Guard was observed preparing to fire sea mines into the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian President Pezeshkian has vowed what he called a decisive response to the American aggression.
