The Financial Times is reporting that Iran has examined potential strikes against American military assets in southeastern Europe, should US President Donald Trump escalate the war.
The report comes as the sixty-day deadline set by a June memorandum between Washington and Tehran has passed without a final agreement, and as Iran's armed forces chief has warned Gulf states that assisting the US military would amount to participating in operations against his country.
