India's youth-led Cockroach movement — which forced the resignation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's education minister last month over an examination paper leak scandal — has shifted its focus to exposing what it says are poorly funded state-run schools.
The group has begun auditing schools across the country, but authorities in the western state of Rajasthan, governed by Prime Minister Modi's party, have issued an order barring unauthorised visitors from school premises and banning live-streaming from inside them.
