The World Health Organization's Director-General has arrived in the Democratic Republic of Congo as the country prepares to open its largest Ebola treatment centre in the eastern city of Bunia.
More than seventeen hundred people have now died in the outbreak, which the head of Africa's Centres for Disease Control and Prevention has warned has not yet reached its peak.
Nearly eighty per cent of new infections are being driven by community spread rather than known contacts, overwhelming existing response efforts.
