Iran's joint military command has threatened to bar ships linked to frozen Iranian assets from transiting the Strait of Hormuz, as US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held closed-door talks at the White House on Tuesday.
An Israeli source says the two leaders agreed that Iran must not obtain a nuclear weapon, calling the meeting a major moment of coordination — but the White House has given few other details of what was discussed.
The meeting comes as Netanyahu faces a difficult election in October, and as the war between the United States and Iran enters its seventh month.
