IRAN CONFIRMS RECIPROCAL PAUSE IN STRIKES AS US AMBASSADOR WALTZ SAYS TRUMP 'GIVING TALKS SOME SPACE'

Iran has confirmed it is halting its attacks for as long as the United States maintains its pause in strikes, though a senior Iranian source has told Reuters there is more scepticism than optimism about whether the lull will produce a broader agreement.

Washington has publicly opposed any arrangement that would give Tehran control over the waterway.
