INTRO:
Tensions are running high in Pakistan-administered Kashmir following violent clashes between security forces and the Joint Awami Action Committee.
At least seven civilians have been killed and dozens injured.
The unrest comes as the civil rights alliance accuses the regional government of failing to honor commitments agreed upon last year, adding pressure ahead of July's legislative elections.
