ECB raises interest rates for first time in three years

The European Central Bank has raised interest rates for the first time in three years as it seeks to offset the economic impact of the U.S.-Israel war with Iran.


It’s the first central bank to raise rates since the start of a conflict that has sent energy prices soaring.
