US adds unexpected 119,000 new jobs in September

119,000 new jobs were added in the US in September- substantially more than expected - according to a long-awaited report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. But the rise in the unemployment rate to a four-year peak of 4.4 percent creates a mixed picture of the US economy as Federal Reserve policy makers weigh their next interest rate decision.
