A judge in Georgia has dismissed a historic racketeering case against President Donald Trump over his efforts to overturn the 2020 elections. The dismissal came after the state prosecutor Peter Skandalakis, filed a motion to drop the criminal charges. Skandalakis took over the case from Fulton County District attorney Fani Willis was disqualified after having a romantic relationship with a special prosecutor she hired to lead the case.
