Putin and Xi in China reaffirm “comprehensive strategic partnership”

Russia's President Vladimir Putin, on an official visit in China, has met for talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. They signed over 20 bilateral agreements, including a major gas pipeline deal. Putin praised 'unprecedentedly high level' relations with Beijing, as Xi said Sino-Russian ties have withstood "test of changing international circumstances".
