French government doubles down on plans to ban kids from social media

The French government is doubling down on plans to ban children from social media.

The education minister says "we must protect our young people from overexposure to screens".

It comes after a 14-year-old boy was arrested following the fatal stabbing of a teaching assistant at a school in eastern France on 10 June.
