UNITED STATES ECONOMY CONTRACTS FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2022

The US economy shrank in the first three months of the year, fuelling fears of a looming recession amid an ongoing trade war.

Despite widespread tariffs, the Trump Administration has yet to secure a trade deal with any affected nation, adding to the uncertainty.
