US judge orders Signal attack-plan chat be preserved

A US judge has ordered the Trump administration to preserve messages
that were part of a group chat on the app Signal.

Officials, including the US defense secretary Pete Hegseth,
accidentally included a journalist in their discussions about
airstrikes in Yemen.
