Former Congolese President Joseph Kabila has joined ranks with opposition leader Moise Katumbi to oppose a plan to change the constitution of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The plan was mooted by the current leader Felix Tshisekedi earlier this year. The two opposition figures met in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa and issued a statement condemning the constitutional review debate warning it could pave the way for a life presidency.
