Russia vetoes extension of expert panel on North Korea

Russia on Thursday vetoed the renewal of a panel of experts monitoring
enforcement of longstanding United Nations sanctions against North
Korea over its nuclear weapons.
Moscow has questioned the experts' work saying they are playing into
"the hands of the Western world".
