Roads leading to Delhi blocked to halt farmers' march

Thousands of farmers in India are marching towards the capital of New Delhi to demand better crop prices.

Farmer leaders issued a call to go ahead with the protest after their five-hour long meeting with central ministers on Monday remained inconclusive.

In a bid to avoid a repeat of the protests that took place in 2021, when thousands of farmers camped out on major highways leading to the country's capital, Delhi's borders have been sealed.
