AI USED TO SPEED UP PROSTATE CANCER DIAGNOSIS

Artificial intelligence is being used to try to speed up the diagnosis of prostate cancer - and reduce the need for biopsies.

Charity Macmillan is investing $440 000 in a UK tech company that uses AI to detect cancer from MRI scans.

Macmillan says AI could significantly increase the accuracy and efficiency of cancer detection.

Tanya Humphrey is in charge of innovation at the charity.
