US suspends funding for Wuhan lab over safety concerns

The US government has suspended funding for the Wuhan Institute of
Virology, the laboratory in China at the center of Covid-19 leak
allegations.

The Biden administration says the Chinese research institute is not
"compliant" with US regulations.
