The United States says a Chinese surveillance balloon flying over the
US is "unacceptable" and violates American airspace and sovereignty.
The Pentagon briefed reporters after the State Department announced
Secretary of State Antony Blinken was postponing his planned trip to
Beijing.
US officials say it's an "intelligence-gathering balloon", whereas
China claims it's a civilian research aircraft that has blown off
course.
