NEW YORK NURSES STRIKE

Some seven thousand nurses in New York have taken to the picket-line
demanding higher pay and increased staff capacity.
Only two major hospitals in the city are affected.
The nursing union says nurses are working long hours in unsafe
conditions without enough pay.
