Twenty-four thousand Venezuelan migrants will gain entry to the U.S. under a new deal the Biden Administration has struck with Mexico.
The plan is intended to relieve some of the pressure at the border. Almost four times as many Venezuelans have attempted to cross into the US via Mexico this year - many having made the dangerous trek at the hands of ruthless smuggling organizations.
