SUPREME COURT HEARS ARGUMENTS FOR SECOND SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE VOTE

A two day hearing has begun at the Supreme Court in London, as Scotland's government seeks permission to hold a second Scottish Independence Referendum. First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, wants legal clarity on whether she can hold the vote without approval from Westminster. A first referendum on Independence held in 2014 saw residents in Scotland vote to remain part of the United Kingdom. Laura Makin-Isherwood has more from London.
