Intro;
Uganda has made an initial payment of $65m to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as part of the $325m reparations awarded to the Kinshasa government in February by the International Court of Justice.
The Court found Uganda responsible for committing serious violations of international law during the 1998-2003 war in the DRC.
