Seven Million Nigerians Sue Country's Electoral Commission Over Failure to Allow Them Complete Voter Registration

Twenty four Nigerians are challenging the country's electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for failing to allow them complete their voter registration exercise to enable them to vote.

They have filed a lawsuit which they say also covers seven million other citizens with the same complaint.

Intending voters in the country are expected to visit designated registration centres physically for their biometrics to be captured after registering online.
