Britain's opposition party says government is "out of control" after sterling crash

Britain's opposition Labour Party today branded the government of new Prime Minister Liz Truss as being "out of control" after the pound sank to record low levels against the US dollar in Asian markets earlier today.


It's since recovered some ground, but the Bank of England is under pressure to raise interest again with a currency crisis still predicted by many analysts.
