More than 1,000 killed in Pakistan floods, country calls for aid

More than 1,000 people have been killed since mid-June in floods in Pakistan, as rescue workers continue to evacuate residents in what is being described as a climate catastrophe.

Pakistan has been appealing for financial aid to help manage the crisis.
