Japan's former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has died after being shot during a campaign speech in the city of Nara.
The incident has rocked Japan, where gun crime is exceedingly rare.
Leaders around the world, including Japan's incumbent prime minister Fumio Kishida have condemned the attack, calling it "shocking."
