South African trade union Solidary is offering assistance to Eskom, from former employees who were either retrenched or retired in recent years. Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan has identified a need for suitably qualified and experienced personnel in various key positions at multiple power stations. His response comes after Solidarity tabled their offer in May this year. Mark Roughton reports.
