Power cuts intensify due to industrial action

South Africans are facing some of the worst power cuts in memory, after the country's electricity supplier Eskom implemented Stage 6 "load-shedding" to offset its inability to meet demand,

Power generation capacity is being impacted by multiple breakdowns, and industrial action is causing disruption at several sites across the country.
