UK foreign secretary says world should not 'appease' Vladimir Putin in trip to Bosnia-Herzegovina

UK foreign secretary Liz Truss is visiting Bosnia - Herzegovina in a bid to show commitment to peace and stability.


There are growing concerns of Russian influence in the country as the Kremlin continues its invasion of Ukraine.


Bosnia has condemned the invasion but failed to agree on imposing sanctions against the Kremlin because of opposition from the country's ethnic Serb officials.


Speaking to Bosnian authorities, she said the world must continue to stand up against President Vladimir Putin and his so-called 'war machine'.
