Calls are growing for the resignation of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and some of them are coming from within his own party.
The Prime Minister on Wednesday acknowledged that the DID attend a party in the garden of Number 10 Downing Street that appears to have breached lockdown regulations being observed by the rest of the country at the time.
In Parliament he apologized and said that with hindsight he should have left the event and instructed its attendees to return to work.
Even the Prime Minister's defenders, like the Leader of the House of Commons Jacob Rees Mogg, now concede their man is in difficulty.
