Amazon buys MGM in $8.45bn deal

Amazon has agreed to buy MGM Studios in a deal worth almost $8.5
billion, giving it ownership of more than 4000 movies including James
Bond.

It's the biggest investment for the online retail giant since it
bought Whole Foods in 2017 for $14 billion.
