Jobless claims fall to pandemic era low

The number of people in the U.S. filing for first time jobless
benefits has fallen to its lowest level since Covid-19 hit the
country.

This weekly data has prompted optimism that stimulus measurers and
vaccines are helping to strengthen the labor market.
