Biden raises "fundamental concerns" with Xi over Xinjiang

The White House says US President Joe Biden has raised "fundamental
concerns" with China's President Xi Jinping over human rights abuses
in Xinjiang.

The two men spoke by phone on issues of shared cooperation, as well as
areas the new US president is keen to confront his Chinese counterpart
about.
