U.S. lawmakers have voted to impeach President Donald Trump for a second time, making him the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice.
President Trump is charged with the “willful incitement of insurrection” following a mob assault on Capitol Hill last week that led to five deaths and dozens of injured police officers.
Ten Republicans defected and voted in favor of impeachment, in a move that comes just days before he leaves office.
