Indian banks' bad loans could be set to double amid pandemic

INTRO:

India's central bank warns that banks may see bad loans almost double, despite signs of a pick up in economic activity.  

This is because businesses in the country have been hard hit by the pandemic and Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, leaving many companies and individuals struggling to repay loans.
