Antibodies fall rapidly after COVID infection, says UK study

Hopes that immunity to COVID-19 lasts have been eroded further by a major UK study showing how antibodies decrease rapidly after recovering from the virus, implying people can be reinfected.

Researchers from Imperial College London say that rather than building immunity over time, the number of people with antibodies has fallen by a quarter since lockdown was eased during Britain's summer months.

From London, Benji Hyer reports.
