Huge loss for London Gatwick airport -- and it will take years to recover

London Gatwick airport has reported a £343m ($450m) loss after passenger numbers fell by two-thirds in the first half of the year.


Britain's second-busiest air hub, which recently announced plans to cut 100s of jobs, says its revenues plunged by 61% in the first half of 2020 compared to last year.
