EU Health ministers meet in Brussels to discuss response to COVID-19 spread

EU Health Ministers have met in Brussels for an emergency meeting to discuss the spread the COVID-19 virus in Europe. 

With the virus now reported in 24 of its 27 member states, the EU has launched a procedure to boost levels of protective medical equipment in the bloc. 

The bloc is working to enhance its information sharing and medical supplies, with no plans to impose EU-wide travel restrictions.
